| Round 4: Lincoln Grand Prix (Lincolnshire) 7th of May: | In one of the wettest Lincoln Grand Prix's for many years, the day belonged to Kristian House (Recycling.co.uk) who was the strongest to the top of Michaelgate for the 11th time. | | Round 3: Girvan Stage Race (Scotland) 15/17 April: | Kristian House of the Recycling.co.uk team was the overall winner of the Easter stage race, the Girvan 3-day. It was confirmation that he was back on top form after losing out to his team mate Ben Greenwood three weeks earlier at the Tour of the Reservoir. With another strong team performance, Recycling.co.uk collected the team award whilst among their younger riders Dale Appleby performed superbly to take the Carrick Gazette King of the Mountains prize and Robert Partridge collected the Pete Longbottom award for best Under 23 rider thanks to his victory on stage 1 and third place on general classification. | Round 2: Archer Grand Prix (Buckinghamshire) 9th April: | The warning signs had been there from Mariusz Wiesiak recent victories in Belgium, and although he seemingly suffered over the climbs of Whiteleaf Hill, a 1 in 7 brute of a climb the riders had to race over five times, the 25 year old Polish rider was simply far too quick for his final challenger, Malcolm Elliott in the final gallop to the line. | Round 1: Tour of the Reservoir (County Durham) 28th March: | On a blustery but dry day at Edmundbyers, County Durham, Ben Greenwood (Recycling.co.uk), won his first Premier Calendar event after last week soloing away from the main group to win the Hugh Dornan Road Race. The course over 140 kms of exposed roads with two main climbs was a tough test for everyone, particularly with a strong south westerly wind making the open roads on the north side of the Derwent Reservoir even more gruesome but in the end it came down to a two man race between teammates.
