The first of the 2 race Tees Valley SSP & Riverside Trailblazers Go-Ride MTB Series took place at Flatts Lane country park in Normanby, Cleveland. 37 riders lined up to take part in 2 races based within the park, a 2k TT followed by a Cross Country Mountain Bike race. The latest in a series of pilot events for British Cycling’s Go-Ride Racing programme has seen over 80 young people attending the Redcar & Cleveland Off-Road Centre near Middlesbrough for an evening of fun racing. We were there for round four to capture the action from this exciting new entry-level competition format.
