UCI Ranking Points

National Championship are UCI ranked as category CN events (Championship Nationale).  Points are awarded according to the UCI MTB Ranking by Nations at the start of the year.  This is determined on the basis of the 3 best riders from each Nation ranked among the first 100 men (first 60 women) in the UCI mountain bike individual rankings lists. For a country ranked in the top 5 Nations, UCI points will be awarded to the top 20 fastest riders on the day.  For those countries ranked 6th to 10th points will be awarded to the 15 fastest and for countries ranked 11th and below, points will be awarded to the top 10 fastest riders.  This rule is applied separately for men and women.
