The New British XC series website is now live at www.britishxc.com - the site will grow and grow over the season with the chance for people to get involved via the movies, rider profiles, bike bling and poll sections.

Plans for '09 are developing fast with multiple National Champion Oliver Beckingsale confirming his attendance at the series and news on some top overseas riders expected soon (rumours abound of a World Champion amongst them...)
Sharon Laws - her clash with Jenny Copnall could be a highlight of 2009
The GB Team's MTB riders have also signed up to the series and 2008 Road Olympian Sharon Laws, who will be riding off-road in 2009, will be out to grab the series title from Jenny Copnall.
Swinnerton's have come on board as series retail partner and will be at all rounds and are also 09 sponsors of the Sport Category. Weldtite have also committed to the series and will be sponsoring the Junior Category.
It has also been confirmed that the May 10 race at Dalby Forest will be an official World Cup test event and will be the first chance for people to race on a newly built "proposed" World Cup course.
Meanwhile, 07 Marathon Champion James Ouchterlony will be flying in from his Spanish island for the Trek Marathon Champs as part of the Big Welsh Weekend at Margam at the end of May - with Nick Craig and Oli Beckingsale scheduled to join him.
There is still time to save some money on the series entry with those of you wanting to race all 5 rounds - those entering before Feb 28 can pick up one round's entry free....!
