REPORTS

Day 3 (Sunday June 8)

20080608_fort_william_dh_gee_atherton_150Downhill Report: What a brilliant finale to another spectacular weekend at the ever-popular Nevis Range venue. Wonderful sunny weather greeted the Downhillers and they served up a treat for the huge crowd down at the finish as both races went right down to the wire.

In the women's event, Tracy Moseley put behind her the disappointing start to the season she's had, and her problems at the venue at last year's worlds, with a stunning victory over the two women of the season so far, Sabrina Jonnier and Rachel Atherton.

In the men's event the mercurial Greg Minnar upset the party for the Brits, but with Gee Atherton and Steve Peat on the podium the home riders did us proud again! Full Report
