Andrew Eagles awarded compensation

British Cycling member Andrew Eagles has successfully concluded his claim for personal injury compensation against a motorist, who caused a deep laceration injury to his right arm on 6 February 2005.
The accident occurred as Andrew was cycling along Atlantic Road, London when a third party motorist suddenly and without warning opened the door of her vehicle, hitting Andrew’s arm in the process.
Compensation was also secured in respect of Andrew’s damaged bicycle and clothing.
Andrew was represented by Anna Hart of Leigh Day & Co’s Cycling and Sports Injuries Team.
