Member's Claim Reaches Successful Conclusion
British Cycling member, Howard Price, has successfully concluded his claim for personal injury compensation and consequential losses further to a road traffic accident he was involved in on 22nd March 2006.
Howard, a keen cyclist, was riding along Lower Thames Street, London, when a motorist suddenly turned left, directly into his path. Howard collided with the vehicle and was thrown over the handle-bars, landing heavily on his outstretched hand and face.
Howard suffered a scaphoid fracture to the wrist along with cuts, bruising and scarring to his face. Fortunately, Howard made a full recovery from his accident and after three months of disruption to his cycling, is now back on the road.
Howard was represented by Nichola Marshall in the cycling and sports injuries team at Leigh Day & Co. His claim was supported and funded by British Cycling.
