Leigh Day Secure Result For Member
July 2007
Quentin Storey, a British Cycling member and Bournemouth Jubilee Wheelers Cycling Cub rider, has successfully concluded his claim for personal injury compensation and associated losses arising from a road traffic accident on 19th December 2005.
Quentin's accident occured when he was cycling around the Bakers Arms Roundabout in Dorset. As he was heading towards the 3rd exit, leading towards Wareham, a 4 x 4 vehicle struck Quentin's left shoulder caused him to crash.
Quentin suffered a number of very painful soft-tissue injuries to his upper and lower limbs as a result of this accident and his plans for the Christmas period and his ongoing training programme were ruined.
Quentin's claim was supported and funded by British Cycling and he was represented by Anna Hart, Assistant to Sue Bence in Leigh Day & Co's Cycling and Sports Injuries Team.
Happily, following a programme of chiropractic treatment, Quentin has made a good recovery from all of his injuries and he was able to resume cycling nine weeks after the accident.
