Six Figure Sum For Member's Widow
The widow of British Cycling member, Rod Robinson, has finally concluded her claim against the driver responsible for the death of her late husband and his insurers.
A substantial six figure sum was recovered on behalf of Mrs Robinson, following the tragic death of Rod on the 12th August 2003. Rod was killed whilst out on a club run on the A48, near Bridgend in South Wales.
Having initially admitted liability on behalf of the responsible motorist Mark Harris, his insurers Frizzell, then instructed Solicitors to retract that admission and Mrs Robinson's claim for compensation was fully defended.
Following expert accident reconstruction evidence being obtained, an agreed settlement was achieved.
