While it's been a hectic past twelve months on the competitive cycling scene, with Tour de France, Tour of Britain and the MTB Worlds, to name but three events, all crammed into the latter half of 2007, it's been no less quiet in the heady world of leisure cycling.
The British Cyclosportive was a huge event on the roads of Kent in July, while September's London Freewheel was the biggest cycling participation event ever to hit the UK's streets.
