Cyclosportive & Reliability Organisers Turning to British Cycling

An increasing number of Cyclosportive event organisers are turning to British Cycling to register and insure their events. For the first time in 2007, we'll be running a section of this website devoted to Cyclosportive and Reliability events - i.e. longer non-competitive Road events.

Why register your event with British Cycling and Everyday Cycling?

• Insurance - The main benefit of registering a non-competitive cycling event with British Cycling/Everyday Cycling is the provision of Third Party and Public Liability insurance. Any event registered through Everyday Cycling is covered by £10 million of insurance cover for ALL officials, and most importantly ALL participants. This provides any promoting organisation and organiser with increased confidence throughout the promotion of their event.
• Promotion for your event - Our two websites, britishcycling.org.uk and everydaycycling.com will both publicise the calendar that will in turn drive participation to your events. We will also e previewing and reporting on a number of the events through the season.
• On-line Entries - We're launching an on-line organisers' toolkit in the New Year, which will include an on-line entry system for organisers who wish to use it.
• Quality Assured - Registered events will provide potential participants with a level of confidence that they are entering an event that is in effect 'quality assured' by British Cycling/Everyday Cycling and is being run under their rules and regulations.
