Road To 2008 Olympics Starts in Sydney

 

Preview: November 27, 2007

 

Starting Friday, the Winter season of UCI World Track Cups will start in Sydney and the Great Britain Cycling Team have sent a strong team to begin the qualification process for the World Championships in Manchester (Track) and also the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

 

In the coming days, we’ll have interviews with the riders and will be following the fortunes of the riders in the competition and publishing results at the end of each day. With it being Olympic Year, the entry for Sydney is not only a record in terms of the number of riders from around the World attending but also very strong in the number of current World Champions attending including the Brits who took the 2007 World Track Championships by storm in March.
