The Great Britain team finished the Sydney World Track Cup on a high after winning more Gold on the final day of competition. The riders from the Britain had two teams in the top three with the Scottish trio of Ross Edgar, Craig MacLean and Chris Hoy winning the Gold in the colours of Great Britain whilst the SIS trio of Jamie Staff, Matthew Crampton and Jason Queally finished third. There was no luck for Victoria Pendleton in the Women's Keirin as she was knocked out in the repechages after failing to get through her first round match.
