The Great Britain team finished the Sydney World Track Cup on a high after winning more Gold on the final day of competition. The riders from the GB team had two teams in the top three with the Scottish trio of Ross Edgar, Craig MacLean and Chris Hoy winning the Gold whilst the SIS trio of Jamie Staff, Matthew Crampton and Jason Queally finishing third. >>>>>

Despite only taking a small team to Sydney for the UCI World Track Cup, the quality of it is already showing the form it has with another Gold medal on day 2. The Gold went to Craig MacLean in the sprint as he beat fellow British rider, Ross Edgar in the final to make yet another 1-2 for the British sprinters whilst in the Women's Pursuit, Wendy Houvenhagel, had two great rides to win a Silver medal. >>>>>>

2006 World Champion Chris Hoy was triumphant in the Kilometre on day 1 of the UCI Sydney World Track Cup in Sydney (Australia) today. Hoy beat fellow Brit, Jason Queally, into second place whilst Victoria Pendleton finished her Sprint competition with a Silver medal after a tumultuous final. >>>>>
