National Disability Championships Weekend

Event Dates: 18-19 July 2009

British Cycling, with the support of Kent Disability Sports, is to run a weekend of National Disability Championships in July, with 2000 Euros of prize money up for grabs. The Circuit Race Championships will be held on Saturday 18th July at Fowlmead Country Park (www.fowlmead.co.uk) and the Time Trial Championships will be held just a few miles down the road on the following day.

There will be National Championship Jerseys available for both the Disability and Handcycling categories, and also an impressive prize fund of 1000 Euros available on each day.

Kent County Council Sports Leisure and Olympics service, who have organised the Championships, have secured a special deal on local accommodation, making it easier for riders to come to Kent and ride two National Championships in the same weekend, and hopefully pick up some jerseys, medals and prize money!

The circuit race will also count towards the inaugural National Disability Circuit Race Series, which is made up of 5 races. More details on the series can be found here: 2009 National Disability Cycling Series
