| Day 1 - Thursday May 8 |
Morning Session: The World Cup action got underway with a packed morning session which saw qualification heats for the Men's 4km and 3km Pursuit, plus the Tandem Kilo and Women's 500m TT finals. Among the top Brits on show were Darren Kenny and the exciting new tandem partnership of Storey and Jackson. And what a session it turned out to be with three world records and a host of superb rides.
Afternoon Session: The afternoon session of day 1 produced some storming performances from GB riders with Gold medals in the Tandem Kilo, 3km Pursuit and both Men's Kilo competitions, with an incredible day long show of speed and endurance by Darren Kenny. Full report and pictures now live.
| Day 2 - Friday May 9 |
Morning Session: Three more World Records and more outstanding performances on day two of the World Cup. Amongst those going well in the morning session were the three GB Tandem duos, with Jackson & Storey, Kappes & Norfolk and McGlynn & Hunter all making progress in their respective competitions, whilst Sarah Storey looked dominant in the pursuit qualification round.
Afternoon Session: The final session of the World Cup saw some of the very best action. Highlights included a high-quality Men's Tandem Sprint competition, with the two GB Tandems going head-to-head. There were yet more world records in the Women's 3000m Tandem Pursuit and the Men's Team Sprint, where GB took on the brilliantly drilled Chinese. Meanwhile Sarah Storey went for gold in the 3000m Pursuit final.
