Cyclo Cross comes to inner city Liverpool on Saturday 22nd November, when Merseyside Wheelers promote the first Botanic Park Cross in Wavertree.
The area of parkland that stretches from Wavertree Road through to Edge Lane is a great venue for cross, especially following the recent completion of the Jack Webster Pavilion, with changing rooms and shower facilities on site – the perfect ‘cross HQ.

The Merseyside area has it’s fair share of great ‘cross venues, Otterspool, Halewood Triangle and Stad Moers to name but three, but this is the first time that the burgeoning sport, which has been attracting huge fields of late, has been played out so close to the city centre.
