A fine, cold weekend provided ideal conditions for the 2009 National Cyclo-Cross Championships. A fast, exciting course made for some excellent racing.
DAY 1 - Veteran-50, Youth, Veteran, Under-23 - The first day of the National Cyclo-Cross Championships saw four races and numerous titles decided. Highlights included a very tense Vets' race, a crash involving the pre-race favourites in the Under-23 race, the dethroning of a multiple champion and one of the best Youth races you're ever likely to see.

DAY 2 - Women, Junior, Senior Men - The second day of the 2009 National Cyclo-Cross Championships produced three more thrilling races. The climax of the day's action was a truely outstanding men's race, which went right down to the wire. Earlier there had been a popular win for a local rider in the Junior race, whilst class was rewarded in the women's race.
