Tough task for Brits in European Championships

 

The draw has been made for the senior and junior individual competitions at the European Cycle Speedway Championships, to be staged in Rawicz and Ostrow in Poland over the weekend of 25-27 July 2008.

 

It will be a tough ask for the small British entry to make progress against the huge Polish contingent on their home soil.  When the senior World Championships were also held in Poland last year, only National Champion Lee Aris made it through to the individual final.  Aris is seeded to the seni-final stage, and remains Britain's best option for individual success.
