All the results and reports from another week of speedway action.

 

European Cup of Nations

 

European Cup of Nations held in Poland was as follows Poland 72, England 58, Wales 45, Ireland 36 & Scotland 33.

 

The Scotland Team, who were made up solely of riders from the Falcons, put up a spirited display but found the quality of opposition too much.  Individual Scorers - Craig Newsome 10, Gav Kennedy 8, Ewan Tulloch 8, Neil McPherson 7.

 

Closer to home, preparations are now underway for the next Falcons home match due on 10th August against Bury in the Northern League,  Tapes up at 2pm.

 

Unfortunately the Redbraes track surface has suffered some vandalism over the last couple of weeks with a two foot deep hole dug out on the outside of the third bend.  Thanks go to Ian Caveman McKinlay for his for back breaking work to temporarily fix.  A more permanent relaying of the surface is now being planned.
