News posted: 12th December 2008
British Cycling has announced new dates for two Level 2 Track Coaching courses and one Level 2 Road and Time Trial course to its existing course programme. These additional courses are the result of the increasing popularity of the British Cycling Coaching and Education programme.
The Level 2 Track Coaching course is aimed at coaches new to the track environment, as well as current track coaches who are in possession of a Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Cycling and want to develop their existing knowledge and skills. The Level 2 Track Coaching Award was the first of six discipline specific qualifications to be launched. It is a pre-requisite to the new Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Track Cycling, which was successfully launched early 2008. The additional Level 2 Track Coaching Award courses are scheduled to take place in Wolverhampton in April and September 2009.
