VC Revolution Cycling Club Official Launch

Colchester’s newest cycling club had its official launch last weekend at Thomas’s Cycle revolution in Stanway, Colchester. The club has been formed by a group of experienced cyclist with a view to providing cycling facilities to a broad spectrum of cyclists from the leisure rider to racers.  The club hopes to develop new talent into the sport and will be running two organised rides for both novice and experienced riders from the Thomas’s store in Colchester.  The rides run every Saturday and Sunday at 9am.

 

 

All of the sponsors who have backed the club were in attendance and local MP, Bob Russell was on hand to make the launch official. Members of the public enjoyed seeing and test riding the 2008 bikes from Giant, Trek and Specialised.  Several joined the club on the spot, taking the club membership to over fifty.
