The Tour of Britain Needs You! - The Tour of Britain is back and this year it's bigger than ever before. Now the organisers are asking for volunteers to help recreate the success of previous years. The 2008 event will visit no less than fifteen host venues, nine of which are brand new to the route. This gives you more opportunities to volunteer and be a part of this premier international event. Race Organiser's Course, March 2008 - On the last Saturday in March, British Cycling - in conjunction with the South East Region - ran the first road race organisers' course. This is the latest British Cycling volunteer training course specifically developed to help support grass roots race organisers and give them an idea of what is involved in organising a road race.
