Background
www.britishcycling.org.uk is the official website of British Cycling, the governing body of cycle sport in the UK. Launched in 2002, the website has grown into the most visited cycle sport & news website in the UK.
Content
The website is dedicated to covering the sport of cycling's many disciplines - BMX, Cycle Speedway, Cyclo-Cross, Mountain Bike, Road and Track - plus the activities of the successful GB Cycling Team. With detailed reports and hundreds of pictures per week, the site provides unique coverage of the sport in the UK. With rankings and a range of membership specific content - including online-membership - the site underpins cycle sport in the UK. Over 2000 news items and race reports are published on the site every year - this rapid turn-over of content ensures that visitors return regularly and that there's always something fresh to attract readers.
A large section of the site is also database driven, including the calendar - with comprehensive search functionality giving access to hundreds of events across six disciplines - and club finder, with over 1000 club listings.

Filesize limit: 24Kb or subject to negotiation. Animated GIF's to become static after 20 seconds.
