Welsh Mountain Bike Championships Closing Date
Entries for the 2005 Welsh Mountain Bike Championships will close on Thursday 7th July for all Championship counting events. Organiser Chris Purt informs us the course is rather different from previous years and the event centre is based out of a very impressive 'Alpine log cabin' visitor centre. The race will start, lap through, and finish at the visitor centre. Spectators can watch the riders on the final big berm descent from the 'sun deck' at the front of the building while enjoying cocktails (please read tea or coffee!). The course will use a couple of traditional climbs to gain ascent but will then make use of the brand new singletrack and 'something special' which will be revealed on the race day to take riders back down to the start/finish area. The entry form for the Championship can be found on our MTB page HERE
