Whilst the rest of the Commonwealth riders headed home, Geraint Thomas stayed on in Majorca and joined the T-Mobile training camp with Jan Ullrich and other top riders. Geraint spent time familiarising himself with the T-Mobile set up whilst doing steady three to four hour rides every day. His progress is being carefully monitored by the T-Mobile set up. Geraint is now building his workload ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in March |

Welsh Cycling is selling its two team vehicles and invites sealed bids for the vehicles. The two vehicles that are being sold are: Ford Focus Zetec Turbo Diesel Estate - Y registration. This car has 118k miles on the clock and is en excellent runner. MOT till July 2006. As an estimate, bids should be in excess of �3100. Ford Mondeo Diesel estate - 52 registration. This car has 90k miles on the clock and is once again an excellent runner. MOT till September 2006. As an estimate, bids should be in excess of �4,500 Both cars are available to view at the Welsh Cycling Headquarters. Please contact the Welsh Cycling office on 01633 670540 should you wish to inspect the vehicles. Sealed bids should be sent to: Car Sealed bid Welsh Cycling Wales National Velodrome Newport International Sports Village Newport NP19 4PT Closing dates for Welsh Cycling to receive the sealed bids is Tuesday 31st January at 5pm. Sealed bids will then be opened and the winning bidder notified accordingly. |
