Darren Tudor Elevated to Great Britain National Junior Coach
The Welsh Cycling Union is delighted to formally announce that its Talent Team Manager and Welsh Junior Coach Darren Tudor has been appointed to the position of National Junior Coach with British Cycling. Darren has worked for Welsh Cycling for five years and has been an integral part of the success that many Welsh Riders have achieved. Welsh Cycling Union President, Mr Bill Owen, stated 'Whilst this is an extremely sad day for Welsh Cycling, we are delighted that one of our senior staff has achieved such a prestigious position with British Cycling. Darren has played a key role in many of our young riders development, most notably Geraint Thomas, who has already achieved so much in his short career. I am sure that I speak for all Board Members, staff, riders, parents and Welsh Cycling Union members when I wish Darren every success in his new position'.
With many Welsh Junior riders currently achieving recognition with British Cycling, we have no doubt that Darren will continue to have a great impact on the future success of Wales' athletes.
Modern Sport Weekend
