Youth
Beginner courses run Wednesday 1630-1800 throughout the year.
Cost is £16 for the 4 week course with bike, helmet and gloves provided.
Due to popular demand there will be courses on a Monday evening in September as well.
Riders who complete the beginner course are able to attend the youth drop in session on a Saturday morning from 0900-1200 for £2.85 each week.
Welsh Cycling also offer beginner courses and taster sessions during school holidays.

Adult
Improvers Course (14 years +)
Progressing form the beginners course, this coach led session will introduce more complex drills and runs around the track with the aim of gaining accreditation and moving on to track league. Hire bikes and helmets available.
Drop in sessions
(Easy Rider, Lunch Time, Early Bird, Vets club, Youth club and Youth sessions).
We have a range of drop in sessions available throughout the week. Meet new people and gain new experiences in this relaxed environment, always under strict control of a qualified coach. Not suitable for beginners.
Sessions are attended by those at differing levels, from those fresh from the improver's course to more experienced riders.
Veteran Drop in Club (40yrs+)
Drop in session for over 40's, experienced riders only.
Youth Drop in (10-16yrs)
Drop in session for youth riders to enhance track skills
Easy Riders (14yrs+)
Drop in session for all abilities at an easy pace. Must possess basic track cycling skills.
Lunchtime Drop in (12yrs+)
Drop in for all abilities. Not suitable for beginners.
Accreditation
The next step after completing the improver's course. Accreditation is needed to attend the Structured Quality (SQT) sessions and is a test of your track skills, understanding and etiquette. Accreditation is for riders of 12 years and over who have been recommended by a British Cycling qualified coach as being sufficiently competent.Monday 2pm - 4pm

Essential for all riders new to Wales National Velodrome. This 4 week course allows riders to gain a new set of skills providing the ultimate track experience. Pre Booking required
Monday 9pm - 10pm
Improvers Course (14+)
For riders who have completed adult or junior beginners course. The next step to track cycling, focusing specifically on furthering skills and introducing new routines to make a safer and confident rider. Pre Booking required.
Tuesday 12pm - 2pm
Lunchtime Drop In (12+)
Drop in session for all rides over 12 years. Not suitable for beginners.
Wednesday 7am - 9am
Early Bird (12+)
Drop in session for all riders over 12 years. Not suitable for beginners.
Wednesday 4.30pm - 6pm
Junior Beginners (10-13years)
