Whether you aspire to be the next Becky James or Geraint Thomas or you simply want to ride your bike for fun, joining a cycling club is a great way to learn new skills, be a better rider and make new friends.

Many of the Welsh Cycling affiliated clubs have youth sections in a variety of cycling disciplines including road, track, mountain biking, cyclo cross, BMX and cycle speedway. So whatever spins your wheels, there is a club for you!

What is Go-Ride?

Go-Ride is British Cycling’s development programme for young people. It provides a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport and provides a platform to improve bike handling skills.

Feeling confident and fancy giving racing a go? Go-Ride Racing is an exciting competition programme which helps young riders gain confidence in racing, these are available in all disciplines and are all around Wales, contact your local club for more information or search for an event near you.
