Team Wales 2011

After a phenomenally successful 2010 season where Team Wales won the UK School Games, Welsh Cycling will again be promoting opportunities for young athletes to proudly pull on the red  jersey and represent Wales at the highest level of Youth competition in the UK.

For 2011 we will be promoting teams in the following events:

    - North West Youth Tour - Blackpool (Road)
    - Inter-Regional Championships - Edinburgh (Road)
    - UK School Games - Sheffield (Mountain Biking)
    - Inter-Regional Track Championships - Newport (Track)

Selections are open to athletes from the Youth A & B categories, with teams being selected from a number of qualification events (see attachments). As per 2010, Welsh Cycling will be depending on a number of trained, committed volunteers to support Team Wales and again enjoy a successful 2011 season.
