Towy Riders Launch Junior & Senior Racing Team, TRCC

Carmarthen based youth cycling club Towy Riders is looking to build on its continued success by launching TRCC, a racing orientated arm of the club dedicated to helping riders step up into the junior ranks and beyond. With the support of new sponsors Cyclemart (www.cyclemart.co.uk) and Continental Tyres (www.conti-tyres.co.uk) TRCC aims to become the premier junior racing team in Wales.

Aiming to build on the coaching and support network that Towy Riders currently provides, TRCC has been set up to support riders in their final years of youth racing and help them transition to the longer and harder events encountered on the junior and senior racing circuit. TRCC will include Under 16, Junior and Senior riders and will look to provide the coaching, sponsorship and tactical knowhow needed to build one of the country's most successful junior racing teams.

While remaining an integral part of the existing Towy Riders club, TRCC will aim to both develop existing members as they progress through Youth A categories into Juniors and will also be looking to recruit potential riders from across Wales. Particularly focussing on Junior racing, TRCC will aim to provide the ideal environment for riders to develop and learn as they get to grips with racing in a more tactical and focussed way.
