Halesowen A & CC Friday Night Track League 2012
Location: Manor Abbey Sportsground, Halesowen
Event: 11 May 2012
Friday 11 May brings the first race night for the Halesowen track League which will run until 7 September, aiming to provide fast and furious racing for the whole family with fixed wheel racing and freewheelers.
The last race of the night will be a scratch race with a cash prize on the line for the winner.

Delay in start of 2012 Scunthorpe Track League
Due to the need to remove moss from the track surface, the start of the Dave Marsh www.universalcyclecentre.co.uk Track League to be run at Quibell Park, Scunthorpe is delayed until Friday 4th May.

Dundee Track Meeting Cancelled
The track at Caird Park is currently being upgraded with a perimeter fence, flood lights etc. Regretfully the work required is taking far longer than originally anticipated and therefore there is a considerable risk that the facility will not be ready until very close to, if not after, the Spring Track Meeting scheduled for Dundee for 29th April. It has been decided therefore, in the interests of all, particularly those planning to travel some distance to this event, to cancel it now.
The Rounds of the BC National Sprinters and Women’s Omnium Leagues have been postponed to the Autumn Meeting on 9th September.
Brooks Cycles Track League 2012 date cancelled - 26 April 2012
The first track league of this year on the 26 April has been cancelled due to a clash with another event at the Lyme Valley Stadium. The league will now commence on Thursday 3 May 2012.
Additional Sprinters League Date
A further round of the British Cycling Sprinters League has been added to the 2012 Calendar. This will be within the first day of the Scottish Track Championship Weekend which will be run over the 23rd and 24th June. Entry is online. Those not qualifying for the sprint competition proper will qualify for a ride in a B sprint competition
Event Officials' Mileage Claims
For the 2012 season the mileage allowance for event officials - commissaires, referees etc, has gone up from 27p to 30p.
