Tour of Dartmoor

What is it? A tough autumn challenge in the windswept beauty of Dartmoor.

Event Information: Starting at the River Dart Country Park in Ashburton, the longest route is 182 km(103 miles) in lengtha nd features 3,933 meters (12,904 ft)of climbing making this one of the more challenging sportives in the UK. The shorter 137 km (82 miles) route features 3,313 meters (10,869) of climbing.

Here is what a particiant said about last year's event:

"Super route, great venue (overlooking the finish with a beer was great!) certificates printed as you finished was a great touch, well thought out distances for stops, really nice to get proper food as well as carbo/sugar snacks at food stops, motor cycle outriders great, medals looked classy and blessed with the best weather in months!"

Start location is the River Dart Country Park owned by Mark and Sue Simpson where you can camp or stay in their self catered Cottages. The Park has a cafe, bar and restaurant, showers etc to make you stay as easy and comfortable as possible.
