Highclere Castle MagnifiCat

UPDATE - 26th May 2009: Due to a big increase in demand for entries this year the 126 mile, 77 mile and 46 mile rides are now closed for entries.

The 4th edition of the UCI Highclere Castle sportive brings together experienced, leisure and family cyclists as it features four rides with a new "Cat" theme. All courses are inter-linked and designed to ensure you ride at least 98% on open country roads - experiencing the spectacular rolling Hampshire Wolds and passing through picturesque villages.

Choose from Highclere MagnifiCat; 126mile with 3000m ascent, or Route77Cat; 77mile with 1700m ascent, or CommuniCat, 46mile with 900m ascent. If you just want to enjoy the castle and its grounds come take part in the KiddiCat charity challenge; 1mile multi-lap ride within the castle grounds.

Whichever "Cat" you aspire to be there is a great ride for you to enjoy.

• 73km / 46mile CommuniCat 15.00 GBP
• 1.5km / 1mile KiddiCat TBC

Start location: Highclere Castle, Highclere Park, Newbury, Berkshire, RG20 9RN

Start times will be between 08:00am and 09:30am for the sportive rides. 10:00 onwards for the KiddiCat multi-lap challenge
