Sunday Sportive: Dunsfold

In only their second year in 2008, the Sunday Sportives had exceeded all expectations in popularity, regularly attracting 3-400 riders per event throughout the season, coupled with a hugely successful 1200 rider Southern Sportive in September.
This success led to a search for more spacious venues and they don't come much more spacious than Dunsfold Park. The former aerodrome is most famous recently as the home of BBC's Top Gear, the Park and makes a fitting venue for our season closer.
The Dunsfold route, winds up and over North Downs, mixing the muscular profiles of those famous hills with some glorious leg stretching cruises on the lower lying lanes to the south. Autumn will be closing in by this time, so prepare your bike for a late season ride (we're recommending 23mm tyres minimum for this one, for a little extra grip and puncture proofing, plus high visibility clothing and LED flashers) and join us for a great finale to a great season!
