What do you take with you on a ride? Garmin, spare tube, levers, patches, FOOD & DRINK

Why do you ride sportives? I like the feeling that we are all there together, doing what we love, cycling!

What was your last sportive? Gran Fondo Eddy Merckx

What’s your favourite event and why? Exmoor Beast, it’s local and it’s hardcore!

What’s the longest sportive you’ve done? I’m doing the Somerset Hills Gran Fondo 180K in May, that will be the longest! So far 100k…

What’s your most memorable sportive moment? Meeting Eddy Merckx!

What’s your worst sportive moment? Having 2 walk 2 hills!

When was the last time you walked up a hill? Gran Fondo Eddy Merckx, boy that was tough.

What’s the funniest thing that’s happened to you (or you’ve seen) on a sportive? 46MPH speed wobble, only able to laugh about it now though!

How much training do you do before an event? I only get to ride once a week so 40 miles once a week!

What’s your top sportive riding tip? Pace yourself, you never know how steep that last hill’s going to be!

Favourite feed station fodder? Anything!
