Club Affiliation

Benefit to Clubs

Benefits of affiliating to Scottish Cycling are that with the affiliation, the club has insurance cover (Third Party Liability), in addition, Scottish Cycling offers club development support and coaching support, along with assistance in setting up events.

Affiliation Fees

The current affiliation fees are:

• Small Club (with <21 BC Members) = £75
• Large Club (with 21+ BC Members) = £140
• Commercial Club (named after a business or website) = £230
• School / Youth Only Club = £30

In addition

• Sponsorship fee = £65 per sponsor for the first four sponsors only

Notes

• The 2012 affiliation is valid from 1 January 2012 until 31 December 2012
• Allow two weeks for the affiliation to be processed
• The club secretary must hold a valid BC membership when affiliating
• The club is expected to provide SC with a club constitution
• The club's welfare officer should be appropriately trained
