Scottish Cycling looks back at the excellent performances of our athletes in Delhi, the athlete's plans for 2011 and even further with Glasgow 2014 on the horizon.
The track cycling events were the first on the programme. This was the first time Scottish Cycling had sent such a large squad. With establish Scottish cyclists such as Kate Cullen and James McCallum working with development riders such as Callum Skinner and John Paul it was a busy schedule for the support staff involved.

Alasdair MacLennan, Team Leader, said: "The team did a fantastic job and I thank all of them for their efforts in what were undoubtedly difficult circumstances at times. I commend each and every one of them for their unfailing commitment to what was a great team effort.
"I'd like to thank the Commonwealth Games Council for Scotland for their unqualified support for the Scottish Cycling team and for pulling out all the stops to ensure our athletes had a successful games in Delhi. Similarly I must also thank sportscotland institute of sport for their continued support, including the Gold for Glasgow programme which saw one of our women's road team athletes come through this system."

Scottish Cycling's Performance Development Manager Gary Willis said: "Well done to all the athletes that competed in Delhi. It was positive to see a number of personal bests being set by athletes and to have top eight performances in nearly all events by Scottish athletes.
"A special congratulations must go to Charline Joiner and Jenny Davis who stepped up to the mark after a whirlwind few months with such late notice that the women's team sprint would be included in the cycling programme.
"Also well done to David Miller and especially the men's road race team who did a lot of the unsung hard work that contributed to cycling's first road race medal."

Scottish Cycling's Elite Athlete Programme Support Coach Mark Young took the time to make a vlog of his time at Dehli.
He was there as part of the Achieve 2014 programme to give future athletes and coaches the opportunity to see a major Games for themselves.

The Achieve 2014 programme was created to offer a select number of talented athletes and coaches the opportunity to gain critical knowledge and experience of a multi-sport environment to assist their own preparations for potential medal success in Glasgow 2014 and beyond.
It is run through Commonwealth Games Scotland, with support from sportscotland, to enhance the winning opportunities of Scottish athletes and coaches on the world stage.
