A quiet weekend for the Falcons as the Cardiff GP took centre stage.

However, there was action on Saturday down in Wales prior to the GP as Gav Kennedy won the over 40's B final in the latest Veterans GP. On Sunday several of the Falcons juniors turned out at Redbraes for training. Also, Robert Bandosz appeared for Sheffield in the Premier League on a secondary licence scoring 12 points as they defeated Birmingham.

This weekend (18th July) Heckmondwike visit Redbraes in a Northern League match. Tapes up at 2pm. It has been several years since Heckmondwike were able to track a full team to visit Edinburgh, and having struggled so far this season to track a full team at any match, this is expected to continue at the weekend.
