Cummings and Blythe named in BMC Racing's Giro d'Italia roster

Great Britain’s Steve Cummings and Adam Blythe have been included in the BMC Racing Team roster for the Giro d’Italia.

For Cummings, 32, it will be a fourth appearance in the Grand Tour with his best finish 55th in 2010, whilst for 23 year old Blyth it is a third outing at the Corsa Rosa, not finishing the race in 2010 or 2011.

With leaders Cadel Evans (Australia) and Taylor Phinney (USA), the British duo are joined by Belgium’s Klaas Lodewyck, Switzerland’s Steve Morabito and Danilo Wyss, plus Italy’s Daniel Oss and Ivan Santaromita for the 21 stages starting on Saturday 4 May.
