Following the news of Alberto Contador's ban, there's a healthy debate underway on our Facebook page. We asked, "Where do you think the battle against drug cheats stands today - is progress being made? Is pro cycling's image any better than it was 10 years ago?"
Nick Morris is unimpressed - "no progress at all i think, all the red tape and legal rubbish is making it worse."
Others are more optimistic. Mark Burgoyne has posted "Cycling catches more because it now tests more and the sport should be proud of that. Other sports may look cleaner at present but their time will come"
What do you think?

The News
The story is that the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) has banned Alberto Contador for two years for doping. He has been stripped of his 2010 Tour de France win and, with his suspension running until 5 August, will miss this year's Tour and the Olympics. The Spaniard, 29, was found guilty of doping after testing positive for clenbuterol during the 2010 Tour de france.
