Download your Cav mask and win a British Cycling jersey signed by Mark Cavendish!

Mark CavendishShow your support for Cav by printing off our downloadable Cav mask and you could win a British Cycling jersey signed by the man himself! Just post a picture of you wearing it at a cool landmark or just chilling at home on our Facebook or Twitter followed by #CAV4SPOTY. (Keep it clean!). There's also ten Team Sky bottles to be won for the best of the rest.

There have already been some great entries so far...but can you beat them all?

CHATEAUROUX: Happy memories - the location of his first ever stage win in the Tour de France.
A
CADEMY: He learnt his trade, alongside Geraint Thomas and others, with British Cycling's Olympic Academy
VELODROME – A prodigy of the Manchester Velodrome where he was a natural in the Madison. He recently returned for Revolution 34 where we went in pursuit of the World Champion.
E
MOTIONAL – We love Cav for a number of reasons but part of what makes him such a great personality is his overriding emotion to win races.
N
OMINATION – He’s obviously our nominee. But here’s who he’s up against. #CAV4SPOTY
D
ENMARKCopenhagen is Denmark’s capital and for Cav, will be forever remembered for this special moment…#CAV4SPOTY
I
SLE OF MAN – Cav loves his hometown and is a proud Manxman. Hence he has become known as the Manx Missile. #CAV4SPOTY
S
MILE – He’s been smiling a lot in 2011. Download the smile on this page and send your picture of you and Cav to our Facebook and Twitter. #CAV4SPOTY
H
AYLES – Arguably Cav’s finest moment on the track came in Los Angeles at the World Track Championships in 2005 when at just 19, he won the Madison with Rob Hayles. Well worth a watch! #CAV4SPOTY
F
AST – It’s simple, he’s the fastest man in the world on a bike. Someone’s made a video in tribute. #CAV4SPOTY
O
UTSPOKEN – "A beautifully outspoken winning machine” – according to one BBC article, that asks… Is Mark Cavendish already a legend? Well he is to us. #CAV4SPOTY

RENSHAW – Cav’s lead out man for the past three years, the Manxman says that ‘nobody’ can do what Mark Renshaw did. Probably their finest moment was when they secured a 1-2 in 2009 on the Champs-Élysées. #CAV4SPOTY

BRAILSFORD – The boss of GB and Team Sky, Brailsford has helped oversee Cavendish’s rise from ‘playground to podium’.

BOARDMAN – on Cavendish – “Just his outlook on life, he’s a slightly different thinker to the people around him, he’s creative. I think it’s fair to say that right now, he is the most successful cyclist Britain has ever had, on pretty much any sort of scale you want to measure it on.

CHAMPS ELYSEES – 2011 saw him take victory on the famous final stage of the Tour de France in Paris for the third time. This time he was wearing green! #CAV4SPOTY

SPRINTER – With 30 wins in Grand Tour Sprint stages, he’s now 11th on the all time list. There’s no doubt he is the finest sprinter of his generation. #CAV4SPOTY

PALMARES – Britain’s most successful pro rider in the history of cycling, Cav’s ever increasing Palmares puts him sixth highest on the list of all time stage victors of the Tour de France and of course he is only the second British rider to be Road Race World Champion. #CAV4SPOTY

OLYMPIC ROAD RACE – The target he will be fully focused on next year. Olympic gold in the road race. The test event went pretty well back in August.

TWITTER – As charismatic as they come, he is a Twitter natural. He recently tweeted about his appreciation for helmets… “Hit on the head by a falling horse-chestnut this morning while training. Scared the shit out of me!! #helmetsarenotjustforcrashes”

YOUR SUPPORT – Show it by downloading a Twibbon and Facebook badge.

200 METRES TO GO – In 2007 he put it simply. “I'm an old-school sprinter. I can't climb a mountain but if I am in front with 200 metres to go then there's nobody who can beat me”. That’s why he is a world beater.

007 - NOBODY DOES IT BETTER. If there was a bond song for Cav it would be this. There simply is no better sprinter in the World.

1 ROAD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WIN – Oh go on, let’s watch it again.

1 MBE – Mark Cavendish MBE. As if he hadn’t been presented with enough this year but Cav also met the queen to collect his MBE recently.
