Leisure and MTB: Glenmore

What: Family-orientated routes using fire roads and well-defined forest tracks and a hard granite base means good drainage in poor weather. Ideal for tag-along bikes and trailers. Sometimes hilly and requires a higher degree of fitness for longer routes.
Glemore is situated near Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorms. Routes vary from shorter 5-10km loops to longer 30-40km rides.
The visitor centre and trails are open all year round 9.00am to 5.00pm, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Facilities include parking, toilets and cafe. Disabled access. Camping and caravan site. Mountainbike hire from Bothy Bikes. Badaguish Outdoor Centre offers lodge and bunkhouse accommodation, disabled cycling facilities, skills sessions and guided riding. Glenmore Lodge offers skills courses for MTB leadership qualifications.
