Leisure: Glasgow to Loch Lomond
Summary: A combination of cycle paths, parks and roads taking you from the heart of the city to the gateway of the Glens.

Essential Information: Leave the M8 at Junction 19, travel west along the Clydeside Expressway and enter at the west car park. The route begins at Bells Bridge, a footbridge opposite the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) by the River Clyde. You can park in the SECC car park for a small fee. Summer months will give the best views of the Loch and Glen scenery.
The Tall Ship 'Glenlee' is near the start of the route and features a cafe and activities for children. At Bowling (four miles into the route) there is a bike shop, and there is a Little Chef a mile after this. Dumbarton features pubs, cafes and tea rooms. If you want to make the route shorter, catch the train at various stations along the route to get back to central Glasgow.
Other Attractions: Visit the Tall Ship (Glenlee) at Glasgow Harbour for a fun addition to your day out.
