Great Britain team confirmed for Course de la Paix UCI juniors Nations’ Cup race

British Cycling has announced the Great Britain team for the Course de la Paix Juniors in the UCI juniors Nations’ Cup from 2-5 May 2013.

British Cycling Olympic Development Programme athlete Tao Geoghegan Hart, after winning general classification and points jersey at the Tour of Istria, is included for the race in the Czech Republic with Chris Lawless, Jake Ragan and Scott Davies.

Germain Burton and Zachery May are also named for the Peace Race and replace Jacob Scott and Oliver Wood who competed in Croatia.

The five stage race is the third event in the UCI juniors Nations’ Cup for Great Britain, which currently sits second in the overall standings behind France.

Thursday’s stage one is a 100.2-kilometre race starting and finishing in Litoměřice. On Friday stage 2a tests riders over an 11.6-kilometre time trial in the city of Třebenice before confronting a 63-kilometre race around Roudnice nad Labem in the afternoon’s stage 2b.

On Saturday racing goes from Teplice to Zinnwald (81.9-kilometres) before Sunday’s stage four finale is a 99.8-kilometre effort departing and ending in Terezín.
