About Geraint:
Geraint Thomas is one of Great Britain’s most talented endurance riders, having picked up numerous medals as part of the Team Pursuit squad. 2008 was a particularly successful year for Geraint and his fellow Team Pursuiters as they retained their crown as World Champions and also took Olympic Gold, smashing the World Record twice in the process. Geraint’s Gold medal achievement was recognised with an MBE in the 2009 New Year’s Honours list.
Geraint is now focussed on pursuing his road career where, as a relatively young rider on the scene, he has already demonstrated his potential by winning the junior Paris-Roubaix back in 2004, and in 2007 he successfully completed the Tour de France on his first attempt.
