British Cycling has announced the Great Britain team for the second round of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Papendal, Netherlands from 10-11 May.

Liam Phillips, Charlotte Green and Kyle Evans will travel to the Olympic Training Centre in Arhem.

World champion Phillips, 25, leads the series after winning both the time-trial and supercross racing at round one in Manchester.

Evans, 20, reached his first world cup final at the National Cycling Centre, finishing fifth.

Nineteen-year-old Charlotte Green also competed in her first UCI BMX Supercross final in the elite women’s competition, finishing fourth.

“It’s a small team of three and we’re going out there for a little bit more experience in preparation for the Olympic qualification, which starts in about a month's time,” Great Britain Olympic BMX coach Grant White said.

The 2014 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup consists of five rounds.

After Papendal, the series visits Berlin in June then Santiago del Estero and Chula Vista in September.
