British Cycling has named the men’s under 23 team who will represent Great Britain at the Under 23 European Road Championships taking place in the Czech Republic from 18-21 July.

The seven-strong team comprises four Great Britain Olympic Programme riders Sam Harrison, Simon Yates, Sam Lowe and Ali Slater. They will be joined by Tom Moses, Joe Perrett and Adam Yates – all of whom have had strong international or domestic results this year.

Performance Manager Shane Sutton said: “The Great Britain under 23 men have had a good season so far, they’ve rode well as a team and I’ve been impressed with the performances they’ve put in on the road. We aren’t sending any under 23 women or juniors to this event this year, as it does not fit in with their season plan or targets.”
