Event Overview

The latest in the Scotia and Alba series of races, Straiton struggle returns for 2024 on a new date in May.

The route covers the traditional 9 mile loop around the outskirts of the picturesque villages of Straiton and Kirkmichael and through the centre of the ancient village of Crosshill. The Open race will take on 8 laps with over 1500m of elevation and finish by the Blairquhan Summit at approx. 13km into the final 8th lap. The female race will cover 5 laps of the same circuit.

circuit is available on Strava via the link below, this route includes the roll out, laps 2 onwards turn left at the junction outside Straition rather than return to the village and the final lap ends at the summit of the climb approx 1.2km from the Straition junction
