Midweek MTB Madness is coming back to Beacon Country Park with racing for Grassroots - from beginners to experienced riders. The senior race will commence at 7:15pm and will have four categories with Racer and Enthusiast categories for men and women. Youth and Juvenile categories are also available. British Cycling race licence holders and anyone with matching lycra must enter into the “Racer” category for all events.

NO ENTRY ON THE DAY, NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED
This is because the races this year will use electronic timing - meaning faster results and accurate times for you all, but a slight increase on costs and hence entry fees, and events close for new entries a week before, so that timer files can be prepared.

Info for Riders

HQ will be down from Carr Lane car park as you walk into the park, sign on & numbers will be found here. The start/ finish is within a minutes ride from here.

There are 3 carparks Carr Lane, Harts Lane and Elmers Green Lane.

If at the time of the event the park toilets are out of use due to restrictions, there will be portable toilets available at the sign on area.

The race will be a minimum of 1 hour. The race will be a staggered start with the racers setting off a minute or so ahead of the enthusiasts. All riders will finish when the leader completes their final lap.
